Introduction to Mine Ventilation

Canada has a robust mining industry benefiting our natural recourses, many of these are underground. All the underground mines are highly dependent on mechanical ventilation systems to ensure a wholesome atmosphere is created and maintained in the underground workings. All underground workers should have an awareness of the basic principles behind the ventilation systems that keep their work places healthy by removing toxic diesel fumes, dust and gasses from their underground working environment.
