Completed a capital cost estimate for a remote Northern gold mine. Objective was to minimize capital cost requirements for the project. The project also included EIS and EA review, development of a commitment register, and gap analysis of the proposed preliminary design against the EIS commitment register.
The project included the design, procurement, and installation of a pump house, pipe line, injection wells and supporting infrastructure for testing the development of caverns in the mineable potash beds.
Conducted the feasibility study for the mine expansion project followed by complete EPCM services over two years. The project consisted of three new brine transmission lines including 12 km of dual contained, buried HDPE pipe. Three new injection head houses were designed and installed to increase the potash yield and the life span of the solution mine.
Undertook feasibility study, project engineering services, management, and construction/installation support for a remote load-out facility.
Developed construction HSE management plans, management systems, programs, procedures, codes of practice, and work instructions. In addition, March conducted HSE risk assessments, compliance audits, and provided an onsite safety officer.
