March completed a site verification including data collection and relay setting verification, Power System Modeling in ETAP®, Arc Flash Hazard and Protective Equipment Evaluation and Protective Device Coordination for 138kV, 5kV and 600V Electrical distribution systems. The electrical system was checked for code compliance and recommendations were provided that did not align with industry best practices as well as Canadian Electrical Code. March also provided recommendations for new relay settings to reduce arc flash hazards. The Nutrien Allan system was subsequently upgraded to 230kV incoming system from SaskPower and the study was updated accordingly.
