March completed a preliminary design for the addition of a New Red Pigment Mixing System and is currently in the process of completing detailed engineering. This project includes individuals from our Mechanical, Structural, Instrumentation & Controls and Safety groups. The design includes three pigment totes complete with mobile drip trays and associated piping and pumps. The red pigment holding tank was designed to be gravity filled with mix control monitored by a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). In addition to the design, March will complete a Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) assessment to identify possible hazards and risks with this new process.
